For us, members of SenCirk, circus is an art but also a form of therapy: the complete work it requires - both physical, mental, and artistic - as well as its variety across different disciplines, makes it a unique space for personal rebuilding, deepening, and self-improvement.

Restoring confidence, working alone and in groups, performing on stage, and developing discipline - these are among the many benefits that circus can teach to both young people and adults.

This is what drives the company’s social projects: we believe in the importance of giving everyone a chance, including those whom life has left behind, and in their ability to reintegrate into a group.

SenCirk’s goal is to provide high-quality training in schools and reception centers, in order to share these values as widely as possible, and to promote the idea that circus can be a source of professional success in Senegal - whether artistic or otherwise.

SenCirk also runs several outreach workshops and street performances for young girls and boys in different neighborhoods of Dakar.
