Two bodies, two souls, two stories that meet. Modou comes from Senegal, Ibrahima from Guinea. Together, they crafted their own apparatus: long wooden poles, from the top of which the two acrobats will size each other up, then tame each other, until they become one. It is there, at the summit, that Ibrahima perches to contemplate the world, carried by the quiet strength of his partner.

Bennoo in Wolof means unity. It comes from the verb “Benn,” meaning “to be one.” The performance is an invitation to look higher, further, with the certainty that one never rises alone.

The duo presented by Modou Fata Touré and Ibrahima Camara is a short piece freely inspired by the show "Ancrage" (created in 2023 by the company). It features nods to the original work, wood, raffia, but above all, the incredible rapport between the two artists.
